About innovAI
The pace and impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations are staggering. New breakthroughs in algorithmic machine learning, big data, and high-performance computing advancements are engendering new opportunities for continued innovation in many sectors of business, society, and governments on a global scale. In line with the world's rush towards embracing AI advances and opportunities, the MENA region and Africa are actively involved in the new AI race. Countries across the region have taken initiative in developing ambitious national AI strategies to embrace technological advances and seek to employ intelligent technologies to advance local socio-economic growth.Ensuring we reap the benefits of the AI wave requires a joint effort between academic and industrial communities as well as governments and civil society. As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the AI ecosystems and capabilities, particularly in the MENA and Africa region, innovAI conference series is launched with the aim of promoting research and innovation in AI. innovAI is designed to serve as a research hub to foster scientific exchange between researchers, practitioners, students, and engineers across the entire spectrum of the multi-disciplinary fields related to AI. In particular, we envisage a dialogue on the most recent innovations, significant opportunities and applications, challenges and concerns, and potential research agenda posed by the rapid emergence of AI.
InnovAI’2024 is organized by the Artificial Intelligence, Data Science & Emerging Systems Laboratory of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, to be held in Fez (Morocco), on February 15-16, 2024. The conference will feature plenary talks, contributed oral presentations, and other research activities. Social and cultural events will also take place to foster networking among the participants in a friendly manner. We trust that you will find the conference scientifically valuable as well as enjoyable. Welcome to innov'2024 !
